Mission

G.R.O.W.T.H. Services of Louisiana was designed to ensure that high quality education and career opportunities are available to students and families across the nation. We equip young people with the necessary life skills to accomplish their goals. Our premiere program is the One Imagination STEAM Leadership Program. Through the One Imagination STEM Arts Program, students are not only able to develop necessary skills in arts-based disciplines, but learn how these skills go hand-in-hand with science, technology, engineering, and math. Through partnerships, we are creating a full-service Z Place performance arts park which houses services and events for young people and their families. We focus on the diversity of our participants in order to create multi-cultural artistic expressions that reflect their lived experiences. Through the medium of music, theater, dance, and more, the One Imagination STEAM Leadership Program enhances leadership skills, educational outcomes, and resilience.

The ONE Imagination STEAM Leadership program is an innovative intervention designed for youth and their parents or guardians to create healthy, therapeutic outlets through the arts while incorporating concepts of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. As a result, participants and families are empowered with the tools to bring about positive change and build their capacity of empathy, sensitivity cognition, and strengthen their resiliency. ONE Imagination encompasses most aspects of the arts including dance, vocal performance, theater, fashion, photography, visual and structural art. ONE Imagination’s Program Goals are: To create healthy outlets that promotes and supports mental and physical wellness To promote art and enrich culture To promote STEAM awareness and career exploration in the following disciplines: acting, vocal performance, photography, dance, modeling, and canvas To heighten cultural awareness through the celebration of cultural-specific holidays, events, and traditions To encourage respect and appreciation of diversity through leadership training

G.R.O.W.T.H. Services’ Founder and CEO have spent over 30 years exercising skills and techniques in hospitality that creates an environment for academic and professional development. Through workforce development these skills and techniques are implemented through hundreds of adults and youth who participate in hospitality training. Specifically designed for students and industry professionals, the HOST Program (Hospitality Opportunities and Service Training) offers hands-on learning and knowledge for those who aspire to manage and lead effectively in the 21st Century. Our program provides the competitive edge necessary to succeed in today’s global marketplace. G.R.O.T.W.H. Services’ ongoing community involvement and commitment brings devotion and passion to our workforce development program. We make a difference in the world by offering the HOST program to all community members who participate, creating a better world through education, community engagement, and leadership.

Operation STAND (Support, Trauma, through Advocacy, Nurturing, and Delivery) is a community organization that operates at the grassroots level, with a network system of local organizations, emergency response, and preparedness institutions to better serve communities before, during, and after instances of trauma through evidence-based programming.
