Veteran services provides employment assistance and training opportunities to Veterans and other eligible persons, mainly job assistance, job and training referral and job placement. Who is a Veteran? Training Helpful Links Veteran Staff Veteran staff regularly communicate with employers, particularly Federal Contractors, labor unions and service organizations to emphasize the unique qualities that vets bring to the workforce. Our goal is to encourage all employers and other hiring entities to employ veterans and eligible persons. Veteran staff are stationed throughout the State of Louisiana, and operate under two programs: Disabled Veterans Local Veterans Employment Representative
